Anhydrous calcium sulfate (CaSO₄) is a dry chemical compound composed of calcium, sulfur, and oxygen. Unlike its hydrated forms (such as gypsum, which contains water), anhydrous calcium sulfate is free from water. It is used in various industrial applications, including as a desiccant, a coagulant in the production of tofu, and in the construction industry as a component in plaster and cement.
