Cab Plus
A pickup truck design, popularized by Mazda, featuring an extended cab configuration that includes a secondary row of seating. Unlike a Crew Cab, which offers four full-size, independently operable doors, the Cab Plus is equipped with smaller, rearward-opening half-doors that can only be accessed after the primary front doors are opened. This design provides additional passenger or cargo space, though the rear seating area is generally more compact and less spacious compared to a Crew Cab. Similar designs are marketed under various names by different manufacturers, including Club Cab, Extended Cab, King Cab, Xtracab, Access Cab, and SuperCab. The Cab Plus design offers a balance between increased cabin utility and maintaining a manageable overall vehicle size.
