Test Vehicles

“Test vehicles” are vehicles used specifically for evaluation, promotion, or research purposes. They can be owned and operated by motor vehicle dealerships, manufacturers, component manufacturers, or research institutions. These vehicles are typically made available for potential customers to test drive before making a purchase decision or for engineering and research purposes to evaluate performance, conduct quality control checks, or develop new technologies. Another common term for test vehicles is “demonstration vehicles.”
