Toe-out is an adjustment of the wheels where the front of the wheels is further apart than the back. Unlike toe-in, toe-out is generally not desirable for most vehicles because it can negatively affect stability and handling, causing the vehicle to feel less predictable and potentially leading to excessive tire wear.

Similar to toe-in, toe-out is measured in fractions of an inch or millimeters and is typically adjusted during wheel alignment procedures to ensure optimal tire wear and vehicle performance.
