  • The VCU operates automatically, engaging and disengaging based on detected speed differences between the front and rear propeller shafts.
  • When relative rotation between the shafts ceases, the viscosity of the fluid returns to its original value, allowing the shafts to unlock.
  • Gradual Action:
  • The VCU’s action is gradual, without causing shock-loading to the transmission.
